Beaches

Sun, beach, and sea - the perfect recipe for relaxation, isn't it? But often on some beaches, to secure the perfect spot, you have to rise with the roosters. Come to Podgora, where the beaches are so vast that there's room for everyone.

Izbitac Beach

Along the long shoreline, beautiful shades of blue blend into each other. Several jumping spots are available, and there is also a shower on the beach. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and a beach umbrella as the beach lacks natural shade.

Klokun Beach

Klokun Beach is a pebble beach located between Podgora and Drašnica. The recommendation for visiting this beach is by sea, guaranteeing peace and quiet! It is a small cove surrounded by rocks, ideal for nature lovers. The pine trees surrounding the beach provide shade and act as protection from the sun on hot summer days. The crystal clear, cool sea and beautiful pebbles will relax you, while the view of the Biokovo mountain, which in Klokun seems to enter directly into the sea, will take your breath away!

Klokun is interesting because there are numerous small freshwater springs in the underwater, making it an ideal place for diving. Klokun is known as one of the most beautiful hidden beaches on the Makarska Riviera. Shielded from view, this secluded cove is the perfect choice for romantics and nature lovers.
