Also, be sure to try soparnik, a traditional Dalmatian pie with Swiss chard. For dessert, we recommend rožata, a refreshing cake with a pink hue and rich flavor, or fritters, crostoli, bajamovac, paradižo. After enjoying your meal, toast with traditional dessert wine – Prošek.

Alternatively, you can travel by regular bus lines from Makarska to Međugorje and then arrange transportation to Kravice Waterfalls from Međugorje, either through taxi services or organized excursions.

Mostar is also known for its gastronomy, which represents a fusion of different culinary traditions. One of the most famous specialties is ćevapi, a traditional dish of minced meat served with onions, ajvar, and somun bread. Additionally, baklava, burek, japrak, and various lamb specialties are must-try dishes.

How to Get There

To reach Mostar, there are several options available.

The first option is, of course, by personal car. The journey takes about 2 hours, depending on road and border conditions. The second option is by bus, according to the schedule of regular bus lines to Mostar departing from the bus station in Makarska.

One option is also organized transportation or an organized excursion through one of the tourist agencies in Podgora.

And if you want more flexibility in departure and arrival times, you can arrange taxi transportation. This may be a more expensive option compared to the bus or organized transportation, but it gives you greater autonomy in planning your trip.
